MECHANOCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY OF PROCESSING OF SEA BUCKTHORN AND PRODUCTION OF NEW PREPARATIONS

(food additives, medications, ecologically friendly preservatives for leafy vegetables and flowers )

In the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry, a new type of non-toxic highly effective growth regulator (nanobiocomposite) has been obtained by mechanochenical technology.

A unique mechanochemical preparation from the sea buckthorn bark can be produced. This preparation inhibits aging of agricultural crops. Also, the development of a pilot line with a productivity of 100 kg/hour is proposed.

The stimulating effect of nanobiocomposite on the morfogenesis of Lucernes by the cytokinin action of serotonin was demonstrated.

Advantages of the technology:
  • reduction of the energy consumption up to 40% in comparison with liquid-based technologies of extraction,
  • reduced number of processing steps (from 8 to 4),
  • the powder product is more stable and suitable for transportation,
  • the new product can be used in food technology and medicine as well as a new anti-aging preparation for flowers and vegetables,
  • in comparison with world analogues, the new technology is cheaper and ecologically safer.
