HUMIC PRODUCT FOR REGENERATION OF SOILS OF HIGHWAYS AND OTHER STRONGLY POLLUTED LANDS OF THE CITY

A technology for obtaining a new humic product for soil restoration and stimulation of plant growth has been developed. The technology is based on mechanochemical processing of coal industry waste (brown coal) into a finished product that is characterized by a high content of humic acids. Due to the complex branched structure, humic acids can trap nutrients in the earth, thereby increasing its fertility.

The technology is carried out using original mills-activators created in ISSCM SB RAS. The product is highly effective and non-toxic. It has passed successfully testing and has shown its effectiveness for reclamation of damaged urban soils. Recommendations for its application have been developed.

The average height of grass in experimental areas during processing with humic product increases by 50%, plant biomass by 25%.
