Major Directions of Research Activities
  • Investigation of processes involving solids under high pressure and temperature, combustion and explosion conditions.
  • Investigation of fast processes using synchrotron radiation methods.
  • Investigation of the processes of modifying cast iron and steel with nanodispersed ceramic powders.
  • Development of mechanochemical methods for producing powder composites (masterbatchs) based on polyethylenes and inorganic components.
  • Preparation of granulated masterbatchs and construction composites (plates).
  • Modification of polymers (polyurethanes); study of the mechanism of modifiers effect on the properties and structure of composites.
  • Development of methods for obtaining and testing radiation-protective (radiation-resistant) composites based on polymers (polyethylenes, cast polyurethanes) and inorganic particles.
  • Radiation chemistry using modern accelerators of relativistic electrons (synthesis of ceramics, production of polymers with a mass of more than 107).
