The Laboratory of Intercalation and Mechanochemical Reactions was established in 2004 as a result of the merger of the Laboratory of Mechanochemical Reactions and Inorganic Synthesis (headed by Dr. Sci. E.G. Avvakumov) and the Intercalation Reactions Group (Dr. Sci. V.P. Isupov). There are 15 people in the laboratory staff, including 4 doctors and 4 candidates of science.
